The Importance of Timing Your Move-Out Clean

Scheduling your vacate clean at the correct time is essential for a smooth handover. Booking too early or too late can create unnecessary issues for both you and the cleaning team.

1. The Golden Rule: After the Movers Have Left

Always arrange the bond clean after all furniture, boxes, and personal belongings have been completely removed from the property. Cleaning around boxes or moving furniture during a clean is inefficient and can lead to missed areas or scuffs on freshly cleaned surfaces.

2. Leave Time for Carpets to Dry

If you are also getting carpet steam cleaning, the carpets will need between 4 to 12 hours to dry fully, depending on ventilation and weather. Walking on damp carpets with dirty shoes can quickly undo the cleaning work, so plan the inspection accordingly.

3. Plan for Potential Re-cleans
